My life of the simplest will
searches for the simplest of joys-
the end of a rainbow.
This challenge races me
around the wet-dew field of flowers.
The painted-diamond bridge can bring me
from this dull world of reality
to the other side-
the brilliant land of fantasy.
Its enchanting colors illuminate brighter,
more captivating than before.
I know I am coming close and
see my life rouse with pleasure.
No! The colors fade slowly
as the sun dries the field.
I see it and with all my heart’s necessity...

...leap towards the beginning of beauty.
Fantasy and the rainbow are only an impossible dream.
Reality wakes me up.
